Georges Duboeuf "Domaine Javernière" Morgon 2014 ~ Burgundy France
"One of the “Ten Most Admired Wine Brands” in the world." – Drinks International
Jancis Robinson, June 2015 ~ "Subtle, dark fruited and with an attractive rocky/mineral quality. Just a touch smoky. Dry and subtle, lightish on the palate but the texture is really fine, adding greater persistence. Youthful yet already rather elegant."

Wine Advocate ~ “Georges Duboeuf is the #1 selling brand of Beaujolais in the world” –
Wine Makers Tasting Notes ~ A brilliant garnet colour. This Morgon reveals intense aromas of jammy dark berries with hints of kirsch and spices. Fresh and clean on the palate, this is a powerful, well structured wine with firm tannins. We recommend to taste this wine at 16 °C.
Les Vins Georges Duboeuf are one of the largest and best-known wine producers in France. The company is known especially for its popularization and production of Beaujolais wines, leading to Duboeuf's nicknames of le roi du Beaujolais (the king of Beaujolais) or sometimes pape du Beaujolais (Pope of Beaujolais). “The fact remains that after decades, Duboeuf is the dominant Beaujolais producer, no less important as an ambassador for the region than as its most revered artisan name.” – Neil Martin, Wine Advocate
Georges Duboeuf still heads the company as of 2007, at the age of 74. His wines have won many awards. Beaujolais is an important wine region of eastern France in the southern part of Burgundy, famous for its vibrant, fruity red wines made from Gamay. It is located immediately south of Burgundy, of which it is sometimes considered to be a part, despite being within the Rhone administrative region. The widespread plantings of Gamay here make Beaujolais one of the few regions of the world to be so focused on a single grape variety.
