Larry Cherubino Pemberton Chardonnay 2016 ~ Western Australia, Australia
97/100 James Halliday, The Australian Wine Companion 2018 - Wine Companion Awards 2017
'Best Value Winery' ~ James Halliday
James Halliday 5 Red Star Winery
"Cool/dry conditions resulted in low crops with small bunches, night-harvested, gently destemmed, cool-fermented with wild yeast. The palate has a juicy, almost sherbet-like, intensity that is akin to a celestial breath freshener; it also has a startling precision and length, fruit, rather than artefact, paramount."

James Halliday "The range and quality of his wines is extraordinary, the prices irresistible."
Larry Cherubino has had a particularly distinguished winemaking career, first at Hardys Tintara, then Houghton, and thereafter as consultant/Flying Winemaker in Australia, NZ, South Africa, the US and Italy. All his wines Cherubino produces are single region wines. The range and quality of his wines is extraordinary, the prices irresistible. The runaway success of the business has seen the accumulation of 120ha of vineyards, the appointment of additional winemakers, and Larry's own appointment as Director of Winemaking for Robert Oatley Vineyards.
