Maison Louis Jadot are one of the largest and most prestigous Burgundy Houses, currently owning over 60 hectares of vineyard, many of them premier and grand cru.
Wine Spectator "Spiced apple and melon flavors mark this fleshy white. Vibrant, with a lemon note driving the moderately long finish."
Leukens "A fresh, supple expression of the varietal, this classically structured, medium-bodied wine is sourced from the Cote d'Or and the Chalonnais and blended to show pure, ripe tropical fruit flavors offset by a touch of oak."

The house of Louis Jadot was founded in 1859 though the family had previously been vignerons in the region, acquiring their famous Clos des Ursules in 1826. After the death of the last male members of the family, long-time manager André Gagey took over running the business which was subsequently purchased by the Koch family, owners of Jadot’s US importers Kobrand. The company is today run by Pierre-Henri Gagey, assisted by head winemaker Frederic Barnier who took over from the legendary Jacques Lardière in 2010. Both the reds and whites are of impeccable quality and reflect the individual terroirs of their respective villages and sites, allied with Lardière`s supreme winemaking skills.
What makes both Burgundian wines so special, is that Burgundy, more than probably any other wine region in the world, is completely influenced by its terroir. Terroir is a sense of place, it means that when you drink a wine, you completely taste the region where the wine was made. Most simply, terroir is the concept that the land from which the grapes are grown imparts a unique quality that is specific to that single vineyard. Over the centuries, Burgundy has become known for being the best land in the world for producing both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and it is for this reason that Burgundy wines have received such acclaim.
