The late Rolf Binder was a multi award-winning winemaker who arrived in Australia from Austria, establishing the winery in 1955. Now run by his children, Rolf Binder and Christa Deans, who have both clearly inherited Rolf Snr's wine making talent, winning the prestigious 'Winemakers of the Year' award in 2005. Christa produces the white wines, and Rolf the red.
