Rob Dolan "True Colours" Rosé 2015 ~ Yarra Valley, Australia
93/100 James Halliday
James Halliday "Dry style, executed beautifully. Rosewater, snapped twigs, earth and spice notes enliven the core of tangy redcurrant. It's savoury. It's lengthy. It's very good."
Rob Dolan – Winemaker: “Vintage 2015 in the Yarra Valley proved to be one of the strongest in the past 25 years. Spring was mild, allowing excellent fruit set and quality and vintage was cool and dry with perfect ripening and crop levels 10-20% above the average. The remarkable varietal flavours with balanced natural acidity were evident across all vineyard sites and will see the 2015 vintage as a benchmark year in the Yarra”.
