The flagship single malt from Taiwan's Kavalan. Only operating since 2005 they have wowed the world with their young but full flavored whisky, concentrating on their signature flavors of tropical fruit.

Nose - Clean, elegant, floral (pleasant & refreshing fragrance of the butterfly orchid), fruity and seductive. With hints of honey, tropical fruits (mango in particular), pear drop, vanilla, coconuts, and suggestions of chocolate.

Palate - A hint of sweet mango juice with that spicy complexity and gentle warmth on a medium, oily, and citrus finish.

The Kavalan Distillery in Taiwan has been making single malt whisky since 2006 and is the recipient of 210 gold awards. In 2016 Kavalan claimed all top 5 places in the International Review of Whiskies' 'Top 5 Whiskies of the World'. In 2015 the prestigious World Whiskies Awards (WWA) named the Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique its 2015 "World's Best Single Malt Whisky" and the Solist Amontillado Sherry Single Cask Strength the 2016 "World's Best Single Cask Single Malt Whisky."

Aged in American oak bottles in the intense humidity and heat of Taiwan, Kavalan also benefits from sea and mountain breezes and the Snow Mountain's spring water, which combine to create Kavalan Whisky's signature creaminess. Kavalan takes its name from the old name for Yilan County and is backed by its parent company, King Car Group's 30 years experience of beverage-making.
