Robert Parker, Wine Advocate "This classic, lightly coloured 2015 Provence Rosé from Mirabeau offers fresh, clean notes of white peach, tangerine and hints of citrus in its balanced, supple, forward and delicously quaffable personality. It's a terrific Rosé to drink over the coming summer months."
Wine Spectator "Direct, with breezy bloody orange and white cherry notes. Shows good zip through the finish. Perfect Provence Rosé for warm weather."
Wine Enthusiast "Dominated by Syrah in the blend, this wine is full of red fruits. It comes from vineyards set at up to 1,200 feet, giving a cool edge to the acidity even though the wine is ripe. The aftertaste is full, packed with intense fruitiness."
Mirabeau are a hot new Rosé producer from Provence, France. Set up only in 2009, they were quickly hailed by British newspaper, The Independent, as one of the top 10 Rosé producers in the world. Keen to ensure that they employ the latest innovations in the wine industry, Mirabeau formed an international team of expert winemakers from around the world: France, Australia, the USA and England. They have earned acclaim from some of the world’s toughest wine critics, and the reaction to Mirabeau here in Singapore has been simply stunning.
Cotes de Provence is the largest appellation of the Provence wine region in south-eastern France. It covers roughly 50,000 acres (20,250ha) of vineyards, which produce the vast majority of Provence's Rosé wine.
Although it also covers red and white wine, about 85% of Cotes de Provence's output is Rosé , made predominantly from Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, Cinsaut and the quintessentially Provencal grape Tibouren.
This wine is made from Syrah (60%) and Grenache (40%).
