The Piccini Family are award winning winemakers that have been producing wine since 1882 in the Tuscany region of Italy. Ranking as one of the top Italian wine producers, this family owned winery has developed and expanded over four generations beginning with Chianti in straw wrapped flasks to an extensive portfolio that includes the Brunello di Montalcino.
The largest consituent part of this red blend is Sangiovese, a dark-berried vine, is the most widely planted grape variety in Italy. Synonymous with the red wines of Tuscany, and all the romanticism that goes with the territory, Sangiovese is the core constituent in many of the great names in Italian wine.
