The Winemaker “This wine captures the wonderful spectrum of citrus and tropical flavours found across the vineyard. Vibrant and refreshing in style, the Sauvignon Blanc is aromatic and crisp whilst the Semillon adds an extra dimension to the wine and depth to the palate.”

Winemaker Tasting Notes: "Lifted passionfruit, tropical fruits and lime zest with moderate herbaceous notes. Flavoursome palate of passionfruit, sweet pears and nectarine, fresh and textured with a long fine finish."

The Australian Wine "If you love a fine WA Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, then don’t miss the gorgeous ‘Water Dancer’ Geographe example from 5 Red Star Willow Bridge. Winner of Gold AND the Trophy for Best White Blend of the 2017 Geographe Show, it shimmers with bright, cut-grass and citrus flavours on a vibrantly zesty palate. One for fresh seafood ... enjoy!" (2017 vintage)

Halliday Australian Wine Companion "Many of its wines offer exceptional value for money."

The Australian Wine "(Australai's N# 1 Wine Critic James) Halliday listed Willow Bridge among his ‘Dark Horse Wineries of 2013’ and then his ‘Best Wineries of 2014’. The estate has also won Most Successful Western Australian Exhibitor at the Perth Wine Show three times!"

Halliday Australian Wine Companion "Willow Bridge Estate is family owned and operated by principals Jeff and Vicki Dewar, who bought the picturesque 180-hectare hillside property in 1996 after an exhaustive search of the state for the ideal vineyard site from which to realize their shared vision of producing world class wines which are both opulent and accessible. The estate is located in a hidden jewel of an area known as the Ferguson Valley (in Geograph Bay in Western Australia) which, at that time, was home to only a few small vineyards. Immediately planting 60 hectares of vines and then building a state of the art winery (the first winery in the area) in time for their first vintage in 2000, established Willow Bridge as the pioneering estate of the area and demonstrated the family’s confidence in the property and resolve to see their vision become reality."

Willow Bridge Estate continues to attract acclaim for the relatively newly established wine growing region of Geographe which is located adjacent to its more famous neighbour Margaret River, in Western Australia. Wine critcs have heralded the winery for producing quality, good value wines. Winemaking is by veteran Western Australian winemaker, Kim Horton.

The Geographe wine growing region is located near the southern end of the Western Australia's Indian Ocean coast, between the emerging Peel region and famous Margaret River – with which its terroir shares several similarities. The best wines grown in this region include fruity Cabernet Sauvignon (often blended with Merlot), gamey Shiraz, rich, citrusy Chardonnay, and grassy 'SSB' blends of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. The region's profile is increasing with several Geographe wineries winning national and international awards annually. At the heart of Western Australia's wine industry, the region supplies more than 10% of Western Australia's wine.

Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is a classic white wine blend. It is most widely produced in France (most notably Bordeaux's Graves district), where both Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon are well-established varieties. It is also a popular wine blend in Australia (particularly in Margaret River), South Africa, the United States, Argentina. The versatile blend is typically made into crisp, dry wines, but it is also the blend of choice for the world's most prestigious sweet wine style, Sauternes. The blend is endowed with vibrant acidity and grassy aromas by Sauvignon Blanc, and its structure and mouthfeel from Semillon.

The Real Review. Bob Campbell & Huan Hooke "Top 2016 Pinot Gris"

Malborough based award winning winery, Catalina Sounds is known for wines which harness the purity and vibrancy of Marlborough’s climate and landscape. The name Catalina Sounds evolved from the majestic Catalina flying boats that played a vital role across the South pacific during and after World War II.

Marlborough is by far New Zealand's most important wine region. Situated at the north-eastern tip of the South Island, this dry, sunny region produces around three-quarters of all New Zealand wine. It is particularly famous for its pungent, zesty Sauvignon Blanc - widely considered by critics to be the best Sauvignon currently produced anywhere on the planet. Commercial scale viticulture began in Marlborough the 1970s – it conquered the world within 25 years!

Pinot Grigio is more than just the Italian name for Pinot Gris. Although the two names refer to a single grape variety, the wine styles they represent are clearly distinct from one another.

The more refreshing Pinot Grigio style has enjoyed great success in various countries, most recently the United States, (where it is fondly nicknamed ""Greej"") and Australia. The most common descriptors of the style are ""light"", ""crisp"" and ""dry"". These characteristics are complemented by aroma notes citing lemon, green apple and blossoms.

The Grigio style is achieved by harvesting the grapes relatively early, in an attempt to retain as much fresh acidity as possible; the variety is naturally quite low in acidity. To retain freshness and ""zing"", fermentation and storage typically take place in stainless-steel tanks.

1 x Days & Daze 'Sunchaser' Rose (Natural) 2022 - King Valley, Australia

Organic

Winemaker "La Goutte du Seigneur is a fresh and tangy rosé, with pretty notes of redcurrants and wild strawberries, to be enjoyed under the summer sun."

45% Syrah, 55% Cinsault
Alcohol: 13%

The name of this organic and biodynamically farmed cuvée refers to their family name, translating as "Drop of the Lord". This wine is made in colaboration with the famous Sommelier Philippe Faure Brac voted best sommelier in the world.

Bernard Duseigneur "Seizing the opportunity that nature gives us; that is the essence of biodynamics for me"

Bernard Duseigneur, hailing from a lineage of winemakers, assumed control of the family's domaine in 2002 after a stint in investment banking. Returning to his Mediterranean origins, he continued the legacy of his father and brother, ultimately settling in Châteauneuf-du-Pape on the left bank of the Rhône.

In Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the terroir isn't solely defined by iconic orange pebbles; it comprises diverse soils like red clays, limestone, sandstone sands, and loams from the Rhone's banks. Acknowledging that exceptional terroir alone isn't enough for quality wines, Bernard prioritizes soil vitality. His team nurtures a diverse flora and fauna that mobilize trace elements, fostering symbiosis between plant and soil.

Wine Spectator “A charming red, delivering fresh currant and raspberry fruit matched with graphite, herb and tea undertones. The fresh, tangy finish shows light tannins.” (2018 Vintage)

Wine Advocate “Georges Duboeuf is the #1 selling brand of Beaujolais in the world” (2009-2013)

Les Vins Georges Duboeuf is one of the largest wine producers in France founded by the late Georges Duboeuf who was affectionately known as 'le roi du Beaujolais' (the king of Beaujolais) or sometimes pape du Beaujolais (Pope of Beaujolais). Les Vins Georges Duboeuf produces a staggering 3 million cases of wine annually.

The company is most well-known for its popularization and production of Beaujolais wines. In 2018 Georges’ passed control of his company to his son Franck Duboeuf, who is considered to be one of the key specialists in Beaujolais, its terroir and its wine, and has shifted production to focus more on Beaujolais Nouveau. No wonder Drinks International calls it "One of the “Ten Most Admired Wine Brands” in the world."

Beaujolais is an important wine region in eastern France, immediately to the south of Burgundy, famous for its vibrant, fruity red wines made from Gamay. The widespread plantings of Gamay here make Beaujolais one of the few regions of the world to be so focused on a single grape variety.

The Beaujolais region's rise to prominence began in the 19th Century and was earned by its youthful, fruity nouveau wines. With no barrel aging at all, these are sold and consumed only weeks after harvest and are officially released on the third Thursday in November.

Gamay is a grape variety that is most famous for producing the light, fruit-driven red wines of Beaujolais. While the variety offers fresh, red-fruit and candied aromas, it typically delivers little in the way of flavor concentration and body weight, giving light, simple wines.

1 x Georges Duboeuf Ecusson Pinot Noir 2022 ~ IGP Pays D'OC, France

One of the largest and best-known wine producers in France. Known as 'the King of Beaujolais'.

Les Vins Georges Duboeuf is a multi-award winning French winery and has a well-established reputation globally and in Singapore.

Wine.com "With an elegant and luscious mouth-feel, the fruit-forward palate has notes of spice from a subtle touch of French oak. Unctuous and delicious through the finish."

Dame Wine "Wild strawberries that give rich red fruit flavors and has baking spices interwoven with the lush body with a fresh finish."

The Winemaker “The Pinot Noir has a deep ruby colour. Full-bodied and hearty, it reveals fresh fruit aromas, such as Morello cherries. Its silky tannins and length make it a very well-balanced wine.”

Languedoc-Roussillon is a hugely important and historic wine region that produces over a third of French wine each year. The output of Languedoc Roussillon exceeds that of the entire United States, and has hundreds of thousands of acres under vine, growing a wide range of both red and white grapes. Languedoc-Roussillon is one of the oldest and most important wine regions in the world, with a history that stretches back millennia to the ancient Greeks, who adored its warm and humid Mediterranean climate which is ideal for viticulture.

Pinot Noir is the dominant red wine grape of Burgundy, now produced in wine regions all over the world, including western Germany, northern Italy, Chile, South Africa, Australia and, perhaps most notably, California, Oregon and New Zealand.

The essence of Pinot Noir wine is its aroma of strawberry and cherry (fresh red cherries in lighter wines and stewed black cherries in weightier examples), underpinned in the most complex examples by hints of forest floor. Well-built Pinot Noirs, particularly from warmer harvests, also exhibit notes of leather and violets, sometimes approaching the flavor spectrum of Syrah.

Cabernet Merlot is a red wine blend that brings forth the best characters of both the varietals used to craft it. The Cabernet Sauvignon renders rich tannins, nice acidity and a great texture to this wine while the plump Merlot brings in juicy fruit flavours. A typical Cabernet Merlot wine is medium-bodied and displays aromas of black fruits and cassis backed with hints of either cedar or vanilla depending on oak maturation technique used. Cabernet Merlot is best enjoyed with food like sautéed shiitake mushrooms, beef roast, venison rump, lamb chops and grilled steak.

This wine is produced by Les Vins Georges Duboeuf which is one of the largest wine producers in France founded by the late Georges Duboeuf who was affectionately known as 'le roi du Beaujolais' (the king of Beaujolais) or sometimes pape du Beaujolais (Pope of Beaujolais).

The Australian Wine "(Australia's N# 1 Wine Critic James) Halliday listed Willow Bridge among his ‘Dark Horse Wineries of 2013’ and then his ‘Best Wineries of 2014’.

Willow Bridge Estate continues to attract acclaim for the relatively newly established wine growing region of Geographe which is located adjacent to its more famous neighbour, Margaret River, in Western Australia.
