Jane Faulkner, Halliday Wine Companion "It kick starts with some tropical fruit flavours – the limes, the passionfruit and pith, the sugar snaps and feijoa – then ventures into a textural, savoury domain. Creaminess across the palate, lemon curd and oak spices at play, the new oak adding a tad more volume."

James Suckling "Lemongrass, lime peel and green apples on the nose. Crisp, clean and crunchy with bright fruit and a medium body."

Ray Jordan, Wine Pilot "One of the earliest examples of this now famous Margaret River blend and it is still one of the best. Oodles of punchy tropical fruit with a lash of citrus and a sprinkle of herbs. There’s passionfruit and a subtle creamy mid-palate texture that lifts this blend from the humdrum. These wines have tended to age really well in the medium term. Excellent." (2022 vintage)

The Winemaker "An exotic bouquet showing lovely red berry fruits intermingled with incense, cedary oak and chocolate. Delicious black cherry flavours dominate the palate which is softly structured with fine tannins. "

The Western Australian Wine Guide 2018 "Brown Hill Estate is small family-run southern Margaret River producer has gone from strength to strength with a range of exceptional quality and value-for-money wines. 92/100 Aaron Brasher, The Real Review
Bronze - Mike Bennie, Halliday Wine Companion

5 Stars - Halliday Wine Companion
People Choice Award 2023

Aaron Brasher, The Real Review
"Lifted aromas of smoked meat, dried herbs, mulberry, dark cherry and spice. Youthful, full flavoured and inky on the palate. Plum, raspberry, sweet oak and spice are all at play. There's lovely brightness from the acidity and the tannins deliver texture and mouth-feel."

Mike Bennie, Halliday Wine Companion
"A fleshy, swarthy red. Opens with blueberry fruitiness, some cola and sarsaparilla notes, red cherry, rosehip tea and faint sage herbal lift. The palate has a nice slosh to it, a generosity though it retains a sense of freshness and gluggability. Not so complex, but kind of compelling as it shows off a distinct array of flavour and scents, all of great appeal. Charming stuff, is the sense."
