Decanter "More of a focus on acidity and mineral notes, with some lovely fruit nestling in the background. Not as concentrated as brother Vincent's, but still a very classy effort which will age. Delicate and refined, from the youngest brother in the Dampt clan."

Decanter "Another classic Chablis from the Dampt brigade in Milly. There is lots to like here with a precise, mineral edge on the palate which adds more to the generous, sunny and ripe fruit on the palate. Medium bodied, there is enough concentration here to last for several years." (2021 vintage)

Winemaker "The berries are crushed in a pneumatic press, of the Wilmess Sigma type. Then the must rests overnight at a temperature of 12 to 15°C in large vats specially designed for this purpose. The next day, the clear juice is pumped into temperature-controlled stainless steel vats in order to carry out the various fermentations."

100% Chardonnay

Sébastien Dampt is a rising star of Chablis. He is part of a dynasty that has been making wine in the region for over 150 years. Having
studied in Beaune and gained experience around France, he returned to work for the family domaine in 2005 alongside father Daniel and brother Vincent. In 2007 he took 7 ha of family land and created an estate in his own name based in Milly to west of Chablis.

Nestled between the 1er Cru vineyards of Côte de Léchet and Vaillons in the south-east of Chablis, Domaine Sébastien Dampt
stretches over 7 ha of some of the most sought-after terroirs in the region. Sebastien set up his Domaine in 2007, after working
closing with his father Daniel and brother Vincent at Domaine Daniel Dampt. A clear superstar of the future, his wines are some of
the purest, most ethereal expressions of Chablis – mostly vinified in stainless steel to safeguard the fruit’s nuanced expression of his terroirs.
