John 'Mac' Macpherson "Small-batch and triple distilled, this premium London-dry style gin is crafted in the heart of Taranaki utilising it's pure mountain water. Juno Extra Fine is a magnificent New Zealand gin with the awards and accolades to back it up."
Jess Old - Gin Society Expert "What I love about Juno is that the big and botanical structure of the gin can hold its own flavour with tonic and in cocktails, however it is equally drinkable as a sipping gin on the rocks."
Juno Extra Fine Gin features New Zealand kaffir line, coriander seeds, angelica root, orris root, juniper (from Macedonia), cassia bark and black peppercorn. The taste of juniper coes first and then very quickly clear citrus notes blend in, with a lingering peppery finish.
Juno Extra Fine forms just the right base for building cocktails, the classic G&T or martini. For a perfect Gin & Tonic, add ice, slices of lime, and top with tonic. This aromatic gin pairs well with flavours such as elderflower, cucumber, lime and mint.
Juno Gin is a boutique, internationally awarded New Zealand gin producer made by the husband and wife duo, Jo and Dave James. It is based in Taranaki, New Zealand, a region famous for its clean air and seas, indigeous botanicas and fresh produce. Juno utilises the botanicals of the area, fresh Taranaki mountain water, local citrus and other New Zealand spices to produce its small batch, hand-crafted gins. Named after the Roman goddess of marriage and domestic harmony, Juno is linked to the idea of vital force, fullness of vital energy and eternal youthfulness.
Juno has won many awards for its gins including International Wine & Spirit Competition, Singapore World Spirits Competition, and Double Gold at the prestigous San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition.
