Three Ships Whisky Select is a high-quality, smooth-tasting blend of the finest malt and grain whiskies, distilled in both pot and column stills that have been left to mature for a minimum of 3 years.

Nose - Overall a great balance of sweet, spicy, and dryness but with a noticeable crisp clean quality.

Palate - Sweetness comprised of dried fruits – specifically dates, raisins, sultanas, later turning into something more refined sugars - specifically demerara sugar. Light syrup texture. Cinnamon spice notes. The dry crisp and clean feel to this dram continues from the nose. Subtle floral notes are also present. Towards the end a toasted nut quality.

Finish - Spicy with hints of dryness, and a lovely toasted oak note which lingers.

The James Sedgwick Distillery was established in 1886 and continues to set the bar for South African whiskies and innovation in the whisky industry.
In 2015, The James Sedgwick Distillery won Best International Whisky Distillery of the Year at the New York International Spirits Competition.
