1 x Lavau Gigondas Red 2019 - Rhone, France

Ripe raspberry, plum and fragrant thyme set the scene for this classic Gigondas French red wine. The 2019 vintage earned 91/100 from James Suckling and Bronze at the Decanter World Wine Awards; earlier releases of this French wine have also received strong recognition from wine experts; Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Enthusiast and Wine Spectator - the worlkd's wine authorities.

Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes bring together blackcurrant, red berry, pepper, nutmeg and savoury herbs. Full-bodied yet balanced, this red wine offers generous fruit, well-coated tannins and a long, satisfying finish. Pair the wine with grilled lamb, roast beef, slow-cooked dishes or mature cheese.

Originally from Bordeaux, France the Lavau family settled in the Rhône Valley in 1964, drawn by the region’s rich soils and winemaking heritage. Today, brothers Benoit and Frédéric Lavau work with growers across the region to craft wines that express the character of each Rhône appellation.

1 x Hedonist Tempranillo (Organic) 2021 - McLaren Vale, Australia

Dark cherry, violet and warming spice give this organic McLaren Vale Tempranillo red wine an expressive opening. The South Australian wine's 2021 vintage earned 91/100 from Stuart Knox of wine magazine, The Real Review; the wine estate’s 2020 release also won the Tony Mangan Memorial Trophy for Best Organic Wine at the Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show.

Satsuma plum and sour cherry bring bright fruit to the palate, complemented by anise, bay leaf and a touch of dark spice. Refreshing acidity and firm, polished tannins give the red wine structure and length, making it a delicious partner for grilled meats, tapas, charcuterie or hearty pasta.

The Hedonist winery is a certified organic and biodynamic winery in McLaren Vale, South Australia led by veteran winemaker Walter Clappis and his family. The wine estate takes a thoughtful, minimal-intervention approach, focusing on sustainable vineyard care and expressive alternative varieties.

1 x Swinney Frankland River Syrah 2019 - Great Southern, Frankland River, Western Australia

Elegant, savoury and deeply regional, this Frankland River Syrah earned 94/100 from Halliday Wine Companion, 94/100 from The Wine Front and 93/100 from The Real Review. The 2018 vintage also received 96/100 from Huon Hooke of The Real Review.

Blackberry, blueberry, cracked pepper, dry herbs, ground spice, ironstone and black olive create a beautifully layered profile. The palate is medium-bodied and concentrated, with fine tannins, vibrant fruit and an impressively persistent finish.

Swinney Vineyards is a highly regarded family-owned estate in Western Australia, recognised as Australian Vineyard of the Year by Young Gun of Wine in 2020. Its organic vineyards combine modern viticulture, traditional techniques and meticulous manual work to express the unique character of Frankland River.
